Think before you talk:
I made it a point from my child hood days, that I should listen more and speak less. This I still continue, even after reaching my first year of the tenth decade of life. I used to tell others that we are bestowed with two ears and one mouth, since it is the intention of the creator, that we should talk less and listen more. The same thing I told my grand daughter, for which she retored, "Thatha, it is not like that. If there is one ear, on one side, you cannot listen what sound is coming from the other side. That is why there are two ears, so that you can hear from left side or right side. Those will do for hearing from front and rear also. The creator did not want to give four ears, since it would become a big design problem for the face. One mouth is enough for speaking and eating.". I was stand still for her logic at the age of 6 years.

Whatever you talk, it should not be a cause of disturbance to others who are listening. It should not hurt others. Your freedom of speech is to be used judiciously to prevent any misunderstanding in the mind of the listener. Words are like darts, which cannot be taken back once, out.
